There is no state in the US quite like the historic state of Pennsylvania where you can actually feel the presence of the past all around you. It is a place that magically takes you back to another place and time and allows you to step into important pieces of history that were the foundation of what our country is made of to this very day! The best way to capture the beauty and the history of Pennsylvania is to get cozy, and set out on your adventure in your plush, almost like home motor home. If you simply don’t own one, then it is very simple to rent an RV or just borrow one of your friends! Then off you ride into the sunset in anticipation that when the sunrises you will be in the gorgeous state of Pennsylvania!
There are more than a lifetime’s worth of things to do during your journey through this wonderland of history! There is something for everyone young and old alike! Whether you just want to relax at the beach and get some serious rest and relaxation, you can bring your camper or favorite fifth wheel to any of the multitude of state parks that they have to offer. You will be able to scuba dive in summer and down hill ski in the winter, canoe and take a sail boat out in the warmer months and ice fish, snow shoe and cross country ski in the winter time. No matter what you like to do, you will find a peace of mind that you didn’t know existed when you lose yourself in the awesome beauty of your surroundings!
As you find yourself winding through the state you’ll want to stop at any number of the historic museums and gallows that some even claim to be haunted. Since this is one of the places that our forefathers began their lives there are many structures that date back hundreds of years, and are definitely a must see-especially for those “Ghost Hunters” brave enough venture into these places where a chill in the air might mean more to you than just the temperature outside!
Take your campervan or recreational vehicle to visit the caves that loom through the state, or take the kids to Hershey where the name speaks for itself, or how about going to Crayola Factory which is any child’s dream! They boast being the home of the world’s one and only drive through gentleman’s clubs in the world, but use your head and make sure the kids aren’t with you on this outing if you choose to take a gander at what the drive through has come to here in Pennsylvania. Visit the graves of old, mines where men have given their lives, and the Houdini museum before you go back home. Don’t forget lots of film and a video recorder though, you won’t wan t to miss a thing! And as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!
Now that you know what’s awaiting you in Pennsylvania, all you’ve got to do it get up and go! You’ll be glad that you did!
